Taylor Flows is a dynamic and internationally recognized flow arts instructor and performance artist based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her journey into the world of flow arts began in 2014 when she picked up her first hula hoop, unaware that this simple purchase would spark a lifelong passion. What started as a casual hobby quickly evolved into a powerful force in her life, capturing her heart and inspiring her to pursue something much bigger. Within just one year, Taylor’s talent was recognized on a national level, landing her performances at festivals and events across the United States. Since then, her performances have graced stages, parades, and private parties nationwide.
But for Taylor, the flow arts were never just about performing. They were about transformation. The profound impact the art form had on her life ignited a deep desire to share that same sense of empowerment and joy with others. Today, she is a sought-after international instructor, teaching everything from single and double hoop to multiple hoop and fan tech. Her teachings have taken her all over the world, from The Hula Hoop Institute’s Hoop Dream Retreat in Malaysia to Rendez v’Hoop in France, Alpine Hoop Retreat in Austria, Hoop West in Canada, and numerous retreats across the U.S.
In response to the global pandemic and the desire to stay connected with her community, Taylor launched online classes and tutorials to keep the spirit of flow arts alive even during the off-season. Her online courses have been a resounding success, reaching and inspiring thousands of hoopers worldwide.
In addition to her individual teaching and performances, Taylor has co-created an exhilarating fire intensive retreat called Ignite with The Hula Hoop Institute. This retreat merges her love for flow arts with the thrill of fire performance, offering participants an unforgettable experience that sparks creativity, connection, and mastery in the flow arts world.
